WE ARE WOMAN

Posted on Jun 30th, 2008 by Jung Girl : Yogi Girly Golightly Jung Girl
Amos Lee - Arms of a Woman

I was in the shower just the other day allowing the water to flow over me and I was looking down at my little painted toes and working my gaze upward toward the legs then my tummy and was overwhelmed with this feeling of deep gratitude for the chance to live this life as a woman. I began thinking what a privilege it is to share the same chemical makeup of other remarkable female beings who I consider to be so absolutely amazing.

 Ladies, we must embrace this gender we are in, wear it strong and proud. Men, you must honor the women that have been placed in your lives in what ever role they play you are all blessed that these amazing beings choose to share their space with you.

Sit down and think about all the benefits we as females possess. We are the most emotive beings on this planet...we have the ability to dive into the deepest of emotions...the heartfelt sorrows and the highest form of joys known to man. Our children look to us for comfort, safety and love. Our babies know that mamma is always there when times get tuff and trust us alone with their deepest darkest secrets, knowing that our gentle feminine arms are wide open no matter what. The bond that we create in the womb between a mother and her child shall never be broken and they are fully aware of this. Our fathers endlessly produce acts of kindness simply waiting for the gleam to appear in their daughters eyes. Thrilled when we are called our "daddy's little girl" and showering us with the love, honor and protection that they desire a man to give us one day when we are grown (however, never really satisfied with the choices we are given to take "daddy's" place). Our girlfriends hold sister-like bonds with us that only a blood relative could share. Upon meeting a female kindred spirit, it's as if you have known this woman your entire life and can't imagine going through life from that moment on with out her. We can cry when ever and where ever we feel like it. Get lost and simply shrug our shoulders declaring we've never been good with directions :o). We get to put make-up on when we need it...grow our hair nice and long and not be considered a bum (not that there is anything wrong with that). Wear pretty little dresses with soft pink panties underneath...and yes men it does feel amazing :o)

Our powers are endless. We can create a human being inside our tummies...10 fingers, 10 toes, 2 eyes, a nose, mouth, 4 limbs and a personality all in 9 months...just by being a woman...and then we can push the 8 lb. human out of space the size of an orange and live to tell the story. God Himself honored the female spirit when He chose to enter this world through a woman's body. We bleed for 7 days straight once a month and don't die :o)  We can seduce a man with moving our body in the slightest of ways or simply softly whispering our words in the sweetest form possible. We set the tone for each and every relationship that comes in our lives...We make a house a home just by living in it. We are the female energy that the moon releases each night...we sync our cycles with her, waxing and waning as she does as well as syncing our cycles with those women who spend the most time with us.

We are love, we are beauty, we are kindness, we are creation...WE ARE WOMAN.

So next time you get irritated with the worries and troubles that come along with being a woman try to think back at what an honor it is to dance in this female body for the short time that you're here. Adore the skin your in and take time today to honor each woman that comes your way. It's high time we take our role in this world!

I really appreciate you sharing your perspective on being a woman. Our creative powers are strong and beautiful. It's important to remind the world and ourselves in these changing times of a man-dominated world just how important the feminine is…. afterall…. this is where the pendulum swings back into balance. ALL HAIL FEMININE ESSENCE may it be revered and protected from now on. xxx

Please continue the comments at this thread… we need each other’s fellowship on moving forward. :D

Sweet Jung Girl, how LOVEly to hear of your humbled honour within the BEingness of YOU.Thank YOU so very much for sharing :O)

TRUTH be told, whether born within the incarnation of woman or man, we are blessed BEingnesses of potential and capabilities unlimited only by our own mind's egos.It is unfortunate that so many do not regard their BEingness, whether man or woman, black, white, yellow, brown, purple, etc….for the blessings they come with.In each form of the manifested soul, the example of WE in each ONE, is a BEautiFull emanation of our Universal BEingness.
It is that we must EACH, EVERY ONE, see the BEauty within the form of OUR CHOSEN physical vessel of BEingness, and thus honour that BEingness, giving all that is necessary to our SELVES to BE the best ME, I, WE, we can BE, and thus honour ALL.
It is ONLY TOGETHER that we, man, woman, child, animal, plant, ENERGY, can create the changes that are necessary to live within our Earth School as is meant to BE, in PeaceFull LOVing Serenity :O)

Wow, this is a wonderful post.  Growing up in a matriarchy as I did, I never realized who a man was, but given this post gives me pause as to whether I ever realized who a woman is either.  YOU have given a great gift to Gaia with this message, I acknowledge Sherri for pointing me to it.

Thank you for alerting me to this post.  When it was obvious our new home would be a long time in the making, I set an intention to be reborn here, 2 or 3 generations hence, so I could spend an entire childhood or longer living in that house, in this treasured place, and I added -

I want to be a WOMAN again.

I love being a woman, I loved carrying each and every one of my babies, snuggling and nursing them, nurturing and caring for them.  I felt when I was younger, and among men with little respect for women, that I was placed there to gain respect, not only for my self as a female but, by my presence for all women.  I hope I achieved that intention just a tiny bit.

Yes, it is a privilege to be a woman.  Truly, I never wish for the burden of being a man, though I love the strength and look and smell of a man.  I love the muscles on a man but never wish for them on my self.  I am grateful to have been born - not to need to fight to protect my self (but I know also, that a mama anything is fierce, if her babies are threatened).

Thank you for making a big deal about being a woman - it is a wonderful blessing to experience being feminine in the physical world.

Thank for suggesting that I come and read this blog Sherri.

What a wonderful depiction of what it must feel like to be a woman, Jung ONE!

I started writing poetry about two months ago, and this poem, which I dedicated to all of the wonderful women in my life, was one of the first ones that I wrote. I hope that all of you wonderful women enjoy!

The Love of God - WOMEN

I would be lost within my thoughts,
like a storm upon the ocean's spread,
tossed about the rough waters within my head.
The love that women have shared with me;
I learned, for what I so yearned to be.
Women, the gift that God has sent to me;
has set me free - to feel my heart, and know such peace.
This love I now see, will never cease, for this I cherish,

and know will never perish; inside of me.
I now see the light inside my heart, which can never depart.
Without this love,
I would surely be dead, within my head;
like a fish without it's gills, living life without it skills.
Since this gift, my life did shift - my world unfurled - like a rose,
shedding it's prose; my life was hurled, into this beautiful world.
Receiving this gift that grows, from my heart it flows.
I love the peace that women bring - into this world - our lives do sing.

With pleasure I say, “Thank you, thank you, thank you” with all my heart,

for love does mend, and to that end, my love I send.

To all you beautiful, women; Amen!

  Oh wow……………………….great to see a blog on the phenomenal, eternal, womanly wonder within the feminine…………..so thanks, Jung Girl.  So lovely….        It fills me with awe to see the Goddess, rising sweetly within woman, universally appealing, worldwide respected, compassionate and nurturing like mother earth………….

I found this on www~~~~”Nowhere has the creator designed any gem other than women. This gem gives delight to men, when it is heard of, seen, touched or even remembered; for its sake, meritorious deeds are done,
and wealth amassed; and from that alone do men derive worldly pleasures and offspring. Women are indeed the Goddesses of fortune living in mortal abodes. Hence they ought to be honored always with respect”  ~Vaharamida~

And now that I've finished mesmerizing myself with my feminine wonders, lol…I should not forget to add that, nowhere has the creator designed a designer like man…for this designer can design and build a universe far greater than this one…with rockets to surpass the speed of light, thunder bolts to make mountains quake and quiver, astronomical eyes that could zoom beyond the skies and yet…inner eyes that could see to the depths of a woman's soul…and so much more…

Uh huh…the feminine in me has got to sing the praises of the masculine…and why not…I helped birthed one of these phenomenal creatures… and ‘sides, man is too busy building towers to reach the sky to worship themselves…oh yes…they're busy worshipping the feminine too…

jung girl – beautiful song.  I find myself often so thankful for the arms of an exceptional man.   I don't identify with some of the cliches you've posted about being a woman.  I've never worn soft pink panties for instance.  and I have the best sense of direction of anyone I know.  I haven't had the privilege of being a “daddies little girl” and I've met lots of men that outshined both of the people that failed to father me as a child.  but I do love who I am and I hope that my son and my husband and my mom and my sister and my male friends and my female friends love who they are too, because I love them each and every one.  It's sometimes hard for me to think of people as men or women, because I only see human beings and those human beings come in such abundant varieties of character traits that i'd hate to limit any of them to a gender specific one.

I know that you weren't trying to limit anyone with your post.  I just don't think that I am any less feminine because I don't paint my toenails pink or any other color.  I'm a girl who likes to get dressed up now and then, but I have more fun when I'm just me and not seducing anyone.

what does that word seduce mean exactly anyway?  it's it about power more than love, seduce?

you are adorable and lovable and I'm glad you enjoy being just the person you are.  thanks for sharing this with us all and sparking a conversation.

On Father's Day, I offered a blessing to our Gaian men by sending a personal note to every man on my friends list.  I followed it up, by saying a bit more, in the Living Metapysics pod at this link - http://pods.gaia.com/living_metaphysics/discussions/view/301502

What I said to the men on my friend's list was this -

I am acknowledging the role of your maleness in all of our lives;
in the protection, provision and building of our world.
May your nurturing side unfold to heal our humanity.
Wishing you a meaningful Father's Day through the coming year.

A good counter is always great.

Stereotypes is a word, and we choose the impact or influence of its meaning.

Some people are not scared off by the implied meaning of standard images of life because they have been blurred by de-volution over time.

Whoever accepts the grouping… is making a choice. It is use of free will.

Some people don't… also a choice.

Thanks again jung-girl. Bless you.
