In the past couple of days I have had several people placed in my path that I am trying to teach to adore their bodies....women mostly....of course for some bizarre reason we seem to be so hard on ourselves when it comes to body image....yet our bodies are that of a goddess no matter what shape or size we are...we are beautiful...intoxicatingly beautiful and the minute we embrace this idea not only does our mind comply but also our bodies...try it out and watch and see.

I can only give a basic outline of what a woman must do to get into this goddess mindset...the rest of the work is up to you my dears...each has their own path in life so I can not be the pathfinder entirely, only an arrow to point you in the right direction :o)

What are you reading and watching?

Ok my dears, its time to take inventory on what it is that you are allowing into your mental images....what types of magazines or books are you reading, TV or Movies are you watching? Try switching from Cosmo to Shape or Yogi times, magazines that promote both inner and outer beauty...cuz let me tell you girlies...I don't care how gorgeous you are on the outside if the inside isn't shining you have no game :o) Read books of  strong, intelligent women...biographies on Katherine Hepburn, Mother Theresa, Maya Angelou...the real Knock outs :o)  Look at really powerful, intelligent successful women whom you admire as often as possible and find out what makes them tick...how they got to where they are (or were).

Use Positive self talk

Place little note cards throughout your home, car and office reminding you of who you truly are and why your beautiful. Lets focus on the beautiful parts of ourselves...If you need help with this send me a note and a picture and I promise I can find those beautiful qualities that you may not see :o)

Surround yourself with people that promote your growth

Only allow those in your space who focus on the beautiful you, who love you and are in a healthy place in themselves. If these people don't exist in your life yet I promise you that you will begin to attract them once you send the desire out there. Begin to shed all the men and women in your life that are a negative voice in your head...we can be so hard on our self we do not need another person help...life is to short to waist your precious energy on those who aren't interested in returning it.

Exercise

Get your hot little butt out there in nature...go for walks, ride your bike, swim. This physical activity will raise your serotonin levels, get your endorphins rolling and give you a beautiful blushy glow that is absolutely impossible to resist....not to mention it will begin to shape your body into a leaner healthier you.

What music are you listening to?

The music we listen to has a big influence on us whether you know it or not....instead of listening to sad love songs...step it up with songs that have a positive message to them...if you need help with this shoot me a note and I will give you  a list of songs playing on my ipod.....also check out Joshua here at GAIA http://musitraction.gaia.com/ . He is super amazing! Josh is a song writer/musician who custom makes song designed with your ideas and desires.

What are you wearing?

Dress yourself with clothes that feel sexy on your skin, that accentuate your finer qualities...we all have them. Wearing sexy clothes that feel good on your skin helps you feel better on the inside and out...it causes you to smile more and you will find people smiling back at you more often on days you dress like this. Try it out.

What are you eating?

The healthier you eat the better you feel and the better you will look...If you need help with this...drop me a note and I will give you a ton of ideas

These are just a couple of ideas...There are plenty more up my sleeve and feel free to post any that have worked for you. It is high time we all embrace what we have...life is short and you are beautiful :o)

Though you directed this blog to women, I read it, and felt like most if not all of you advice crosses over into applying to men as well  in some way at least,

and when I think about how it would feel to do all of that, and reflect on how you show, even through the online interface, what that can look like,

I melt

you give to us all : )
in gratitude

Thank you for your insight and advice on appreciating the goddess within.  I hadn't been feeling like a goddess until most recently becoming a mother.  At age 40, I've come to appreciate more the body that God has given me.  I've been taking much better care of it and nurturing it.  I've lost 17 pounds and exercise 6 days/week.  I feel more alive than ever before, stronger, sexier.

My inner beauty needs to shine through my outer shell.  The outer shell withers away little by little every day, though healthy food and exercise keeps the process at bay.  I've got the exercise part down, but I'd love some more tips on healthy eating as I get cravings from time to time for junk food.

You are a gem—I'm glad to know you.
